Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Havaspot.

No resident or patient information

Havaspot lists beds, not people. Do not put personal information about a resident, patient or family in a listing, a photo, a bed label or a message. That includes:

• names, initials, room numbers tied to a person, or dates of birth;
• diagnoses, medications, care needs described in a way that identifies someone, or medical records;
• photos or videos in which a resident can be recognized;
• insurance, ALTCS or Medicare numbers.

When an agent and a home discuss a possible placement, keep messages to what is needed to decide whether to talk, and continue the details by phone or through your own secure systems. Messages are not a medical record and are not built for health information.

Accurate vacancy information

• Only confirm openings that are really open on the day you confirm.
• Do not list beds, prices, plans or care types you do not offer.
• Correct mistakes as soon as you notice them.
• Only claim a home you are authorized to speak for.

No scraping or bulk copying

• Do not use bots, scrapers or scripts to read, copy or export the board, home pages or messages.
• Do not resell or republish Havaspot listings.
• Do not try to get around rate limits, access rules or sign-in.

Respect for other users

• No spam, marketing blasts or unrelated solicitation in messages.
• No harassment, threats or abusive language.
• Do not impersonate another person, home or agency.
• Do not refuse or steer placements in a way that breaks fair housing or anti-discrimination law.

Security

• Do not probe, scan or test the Service for weaknesses without our written permission. If you find a security problem, tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
• Do not upload malware or anything meant to harm the Service or its users.

What we do about it

We may remove content, correct a listing, suspend an account or close it, depending on how serious the problem is. Where the law requires, we will report it. To report something, write to [CONTACT EMAIL].
