Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: [REVIEW DATE]
[COMPANY LEGAL NAME] wants Havaspot to work for everyone who uses it, on the phones care home staff and agents actually carry. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. [THIS STATEMENT HAS NOT YET BEEN CHECKED BY AN INDEPENDENT AUDIT.]
What we have done
- Status is never shown by colour alone: the vacancy sign and map pins also differ in shape and words.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 pixels tall, for tapping on a phone.
- Body text is never smaller than 16 pixels.
- The map's pins can be reached and opened with the keyboard.
- Animations on the front page do not run if your device asks for reduced motion.
- The Service is available in English, Spanish, Romanian and Filipino.
Known limitations
- The Spanish, Romanian and Filipino translations are drafts and have not all been reviewed by native speakers.
- The map is a visual view; the same homes are always available as a list.
- Photos uploaded by care homes may not have text descriptions.
- [ADD ANY ISSUES FOUND IN TESTING.]
Tell us
If something on Havaspot is hard to use, email [CONTACT EMAIL] with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within [RESPONSE PERIOD], and can give you the information in another way in the meantime.
Our approach
We check new screens at phone width and with the keyboard before release. [DESCRIBE ANY SCREEN READER OR AUTOMATED TESTING ONCE IN PLACE.] This statement is reviewed whenever the Service changes significantly.
